Traversal buttons on VIEW action

I have a process that does a FIND ALL and then a VIEW action. However there are no traversal buttons that are presented on the form (and I have traversal buttons option checked).

I am trying to show the form in NO EDIT mode and then the user can 'walk' thru the records forward and backward.

Is this normal behavior? If so, is there a best practice or other way to get traversal buttons to show up?

Not quite the same setup BUT

I have a query that finds the records I need. In the query I have a VIEW button set as "next to the item" When the VIEW button is clicked, the form is presented in a panel below the list (although I suspect that doesn't matter so much)

Traversal buttons all work ok in this scenario. I suspect your problem is you are running from a process which will open the form in a modal window. This mode of operation causes problems both with processes started from the form (you can't ) and the default buttons like traversal, print etc etc.

Meant to add - if this is related to your other post, the form I present contains 3 tabs and behind two of the tabs there are referenced items represented by a "Table of Items" There are NO edit/add/add new button anywhere on the form or in any of the tabs or tables.

Could this be the solution you are looking for?

Thanks Rocketman - yes I am running from a process. I was not aware of the modal limitations.

I am going to try your suggestions and see if I can make it work for our needs.

Looks like I am going to have to do some custom coding unfortunately. The limitations of traversal button capability within AwareIM will not allow for what I am trying to achieve. So I will have to drop out to some HTML/Javascripting...
