AwareApp runQuery not working

I have a HTML Hypertext link but when clicking on it I am getting an error. Any thoughts on what my be causing it would be greatly appreciated.

I am getting the following error in the browser.

HTTP Status 404 - /AwareIM/%E2%80%9D

type Status report

message /AwareIM/%E2%80%9D

description The requested resource (/AwareIM/%E2%80%9D) is not available.

Here is an extract from the Tomcat server log:

Hello,
I use this feature and it works.
Be aware that if you copy/paste the html command from other place check the commas and apostrophe. Usually are not pasted right.

I checked the commas, etc. and all looks good. Do you think there could be something that needs to be installed related to java?

This has nothing to do with Java. The second parameter in the call should be where the result is rendered, so it appears wrong. Other than that, it should definitely work. The exception in the Tomcat log can be ignored - it has nothing to do with this.

Thanks for your review and support. I am still getting the same error. I created a very simple BSV and tried a very simple/basic query and it still produces the same error.

The message seems to point to something missing somewhere in the system.

I am running as administrator with full access on the windows machine but could it be an access/rights issue that perhaps something cannot be accessed?

Quotation mark issue maybe? Copy paste the code below & see if that works:

<a href="#" onclick="AwareApp.runQuery('TESTIT', 'main')">Show Results</a>

Thanks for that - I fixed the quotes and still getting same error.

This one has me stumped (but must admit not a strong Tomcat person...)

Ha - yeah, as many times as you look at it for some reason sometimes it just seems invisible.

BTW, I also solved a very solid solution to the finding questions without answers. Basically wrote a store procedure and added a button.

The bold quotation marks should be used in most cases.

" " - quotation mark
“ “ - left double curly quote
” ” - right double curly quote
' & #39; - apostrophe (single quote)
‘ ‘ - left single curly quote
’ ’ - right single curly quote

" is valid in both HTML5 and HTML4.

' is valid in HTML5, but not HTML4. & #39 should be used instead.
