Cannot export BSV

I'm trying to export my BSV, it goes through the whole process of choosing where to save and what to call it but when you browse there, it hasn't exported.

Any ideas?

When you save the file make sure you place a .bsv on the end e.g. MyApp.bsv

Sorry, I meant to say, I'm going directly through the config tool. Right click business space > Export.

So another query is, is there any way to extract the BSV apart from the system apart from the config tool? Like through the backend file system?

I have also wondered about this. In another post someone recommended doing bsv backup directly in MySQL but i dont know how to do this.
Could anyone share the steps on how to A) backup a bsv directly from the DB and B) restore a bsv directly to the DB?

Every now and then the Config Tool spits out an error message when I try export a BSV. Mainly when I try to overwrite an existing BSV.

Well, in the past I had this problem and was because the bsv was too big.

I had to remove all of the images I used in the reports, and in the visual perspectives i imported a web page with some images. Then the bsv was lighter and was able to export.
