I'd like to avoid using presentation designer to display data that can be easily displayed using HTML & CSS.
The custom data template works well with CSS & HTML, the issue is the attribute formats.
Formats specified at attribute level are not respected in custom data template for number (with decimals), date, timestamp, duration and possible other attributes.
Using this feature, displaying even a simple HTML table with dates, product & price is now impossible since the formats are not respected and cannot be specified.
Some examples:
a) Price {Price} (number attr) is shown as 10.0 instead on 10.00. Decimals are not respected, with {Item_Price} is shown as 1.33333333.
b) Duration {Duration} is shown as 1500000 instead of 00h 15m
c) Timestamp {Timestamp} attribute format cannot be amended to just show the date (dd/MM/yy).
d) TimstampSC {TimestampSC} shortcut shows as 2013-09-28T07:00:00 instead of 28/09/2013 7:00 AM - forum post
There could be more, so far, I've only used the ones mentioned above.
Anyone having similar issues using the out-of-the-box custom data template feature?
