Calculation By Expression

I want to add payroll capability to my Leave Management System and am pondering how to implement the payroll templates in Aware.

I have it already in another platform which allows calculation using an expression. For example.... imagine there is a Project Allowance which is calculated as ProjAllow=BaseSalary*0.7, where ProjAllow and BaseSalary are Attributes of a BO called SalTemplate.

It means the administrator can enter a Text attribute with a value of BaseSalary*0.7 and using a Rule, the system could calculate the value of ProjAllow.

Is this possible in Aware?

I made an app where the system calculates the employee salary ( base + bonus ) . Based on employee contract type ( full or part-time ) , hours worked and commissions. Admin enter base salary and bonus levels. The system does the rest of the job.
