Some clarification needed to proceed furthur with AwareIM

Hi,i need clarification for the below two points

1.Is it possible to create a database outside and then port to Aware.

2.Did it cause any problems working with big accounts like Visionstream or Express Couriers as the solution we provide should connect their existing database.

Please suggest.

AwareIM is designed to be able to attached to external databases. This is described in the User Guide.
