Form design error

Im getting in one of my forms now..

Exception while saving object null

When I try to save it in the configuration tool.

Any ideas of where to start looking?

Also if I copy say a query and then try and rename it I get the same error. Weird? No issues with say adding a query from scratch.

I get the error too, i find that when i am changing the name of an attribute it rears its head.

If i delete the attribute and then make up a new one.. its fine.

When you copy/paste a BO or a Form all styles and icons rules may not follow, this will give you an error. Mysql as well may not create some fields.

If you know how to reproduce this reliably can you send your BSV to us? Otherwise, we cannot do much

Support are on the case, they have a BSV and video which demonstrates the issue.

Should be out soon with a fix 🙂

An other error you can reproduce :

On Mac or Linux :

Create CRM app
Create a new bsv called YourApp or what ever
Copy/paste Customer or ContactNote BO from CRM to Your App
Make changes to the BO to have copied
---> if you try to Save the system is unable to find the path of the icons created using the Windows version of the app ( c:/fam_icons/iconname.png )
Deleting the icons and trying to save again does not work. The only option is to delete them using Windows version,export the bsv and import back to Mac.
I wonder if a bsv created on Mac or Linux gives the same error on Windows.

Also created MyAPP bsv and tried to copy/paste the BO's from IssueResolution.

You have to check the attributes of the BO and the Forms and delete all the icons relative to "c:/temp/icons".

If you forget to delete one single entry and try to save your Form you will to start all over...
