Hey,

When making plugins for AwareIM, what should they be written in and how would you install them? We're looking into enhanced functionality for the future and we'll probably need to hire a developer, just need to know what kind.

Hi Mark,

Right now, plug-ins can only be written in java. There is a comment in the Programmers Reference that "other languages will be supported in the future". I do not know when the support of languages is coming, but that comment has been in the Programmers Reference for at least a couple of years.

Look at the Programmers Reference for installation instructions and other useful information.
