Process not running in new TAB

Hello,

I have tested this in queries and menus.

In Queries when I create an operation to start a process and I want this to be opened in "New TAB" ..the process executes in popup window.
Same is in menus.
I am using build 1695.

A process always works in a popup window unless this is the last action of the process which doesn't require input from the user.

For example,
EDIT Object
DoSomething else

The EDIT action will always be displayed in the popup window, no matter what the output is set to.

However in this process,

DoSomething
VIEW Object

The last action is VIEW which doesn't wait for user input and it will be displayed in a tab if the output of the process is set to New Tab

Hi Support,

Still this behaviour persist in new version 6.0?
It is not possible to start a CREATE, ENTER NEW process in a new tab?

I have the following scenario:
I have a process like this:

ENTER NEW Invoice
INCREASE Invoice.Series.CurrentNumber BY 1

In popup window if accidentally the user hits Enter key on his keyboard the form closes and the invoice is created, even it's empty...

A new tab would be great if possible with such processes

ENTER NEW always operates in a popup window - there are reasons for this.

Consider moving the INCREASE action into the rules of the object, in which case you won't need a process and can just use the Create Object operation. This operation can execute in a new tab.

Hi Support,

Is also have a reason that I need ENTER NEW and not a CREATE Object.

In real life, users opens a Invoice form, but exists scenarios when they change their mind and they do not need that invoice anymore. In this scenario I will have empty orphaned documents (used series numbers)...

I guess I have to find a workaround for this..

Anyone has dealed with this kind of scenarios?

Any advice will be much appreciated.
