A process running page

What would be the easiest way to have a section on the dashboard that runs processes? What I mean by this is, similar to making a form and adding a little html button that runs a process.

Is the best way to add a custom html page? What I'm looking for is a page that can run a variety of reports, like a list of the reports with a button next to each one.

Hi,
The easiest way is probably to use a presentation. I have a reports page that displays a presentation that is based on a reports query but the query can be generic that doesn't feed anything into the presentation. You can then put whatever plain text and function buttons that you want into the presentation and make it look like whatever you want. The benefit of this approach over a custom html page is that it is a lot easier to maintain the buttons and you can make any element on the page conditionally visible based on such things as user rights and authority to view specific reports etc..., you can also make available other reports without having to publish a new version.

Hmm, I didn't think of presentations. I'll look into that, sounds exactly right.

So, do I just go to the report designer? I don't see anything that specifically says "Presentation"

Presentations are created and maintained from a business object. See page 39 in the user guide.

Love your idea, Pete. I've never considered that use of a presentation. AwareIM never ceases to amaze me in it's flexibility.
