User guide p83.
All the above parameters encrypted using the ENCRYPT_B64 function
This parameter should be used if you don’t want users to see values of other parameters, for example, password object ID’s etc.
Fair enough.
In this case you can encrypt all parameters
Using a new BO and a process to create and store the 'e' encrypted string for later use?
Can someone please give me an example of how you would email a login URL containing encrypted login paramaters.
and then use the encrypted string as a value of the “e” parameter, for example:
DISPLAY URL ‘localhost:8080/AwareIM/logonOp.aw?e=ENCRYPT_B64(‘domain=MyBusinessSpace&firstCommand=command&etc&etc)
I'm lost. When would the action DISPLAY URL be used?
FUNCTION:
ENCRYPT_B64, DECRYPT_B64
An attribute of the Plain Text type or an expression producing a string
Is this a plain text attribute used to store the encrypted string.
Example:
DISPLAY URL ‘logonOp.aw?e=ENCRYPT_B64(‘domain=Test&userName=john&password=123’)
How would the DISPLAY URL action store the encrypted string?
Would this work?
BOmyEncryptions.EncryptedString=ENCRYPT_B64(BOmyEncryptions.LoginParameters)
Cheers
