Process making empty records in DB

Hello,

I have 2 BO's : Orders and Contact_Person.

From the main form of Orders I have a button which starts a process to create a contact person for a specific customer:

CREATE Contact_Person WITH Contact_Person.Customer=Orders.Customer
Edit Contact_Person

As it is the process automatically creates a record in database for Contact_Person. But the issue is that IF the user cancel the process, 1 empty record appears in database.
How can it be done only when the user saves the Editing form of Contact_Person the record to be created in database? I assume this is simple but I can't figure it out right now....need some help here...

Why don't you use ENTER NEW instead of CREATE. This way, The contact won't be created until the user saves the form.

Sorry me again 🙂..
I have tested again and this is what happens when using ENTER NEW.
The behaviour of inserting data in DBis ok,no more empty records, but still a problem with popup form.

The popup form opens in create mode (this is good), but when you hit the create button the form doesn't close, the form remains on screen only the button "create" turns in "save"...and only if this is clicked the popup closes. I should make a process to close the popup when I click "create" button?

In your 'Process' replace:

Edit Contact_Person

With

INSERT Contact_Person IN Orders.Contact_Person
