Hey,

My server admin gave me email settings for our server and he said no TLS or SSL but I should turn outgoing authentication on. There's no option for this though.

I got it working with my gmail settings but not having any luck with our settings. Is the default to use full email address as username or just the first half before the @?

Hello,

This depends how your mail server admin has setup the login for your server. Could be both or only one of them.
Try connect to your account from other app or device (outside awareim) to see if indeed those settings are correct.
