Price entered divisible by $0.05 function

Can anyone please tell me what function to use to check that the entered number is divisible by 0.05 cents.

I would like the system to REPORT ERROR if the user enters $10.57.

Basically check that any amount entered is to the nearest $0.05.

Iv'e tried using the MOD function to calculate a remainder, but I'm getting an error.

Why don't you just round it for your users?

Or else build a maths equation /0.05 and use an IF statement to REPORT ERROR

The attribute is cash received.

I need the user to enter the exact amount of cash received and since there is no 1c or 2c in Australia only 5c, I want validate the user input & REPORT ERROR if user enters $10.57 and tries to save the form.

The cash received cannot be round up to $10.60 if the user only received $10.55.

I'll try to use to use the MOD and ABS functions & see how I go.

MOD only works with whole numbers. The following should work:

If MOD(YourBO.Attribute*100,5)<>0 Then
REPORT ERROR 'your message'
