Feedback - Approval via email

Just wondering if this scenario is possible in Aware?

Have an app that will send an email to a person advising that a Leave Application is waiting for their approval.

We only want to expose this application internally rather than to the web.

Is there a way that the alert email contains an Approve or No Approve button and .....Assuming Approve clicked, and email is sent back to the application with say, AppNo., ApproverName, Approved Flag and then Aware accepts that email and sets the Leave Application to Approved?

I do something similar to this with purchase orders where vendors can click on a button within their notification email to confirm that they received the purchase order.

Using a combination of guest login and firstProcess, you can do exactly what you want.

But from what you said it seems that a login is required to the Guest account.

I really just want to send an email to the application mailbox and have it process the email as an approval

Hi, check out the user manual on the use of the SET function. I believe there are a number of posts on this subject. It's not something I've used much but I seem to recall it may be just what you are looking for
