Filling a preprinted document

I need to use a preprinted document. I've imported and edited an MS Word version. There are five distinct blocks of information that would pertain to 5 specific instance selections from an object. If a query is used to select the instance selections and <<>> tags are used in each of the block sections will the create document function pick up each of the query results in turn? If not how can that be accomplished?

This document was originally meant to be filled using MS Word, hand written, or typed. The user wants to retain the same format but would like to automate the process.

Do you want to end up with

A) 5 separate docs, one for each instance,

B) 1 doc with data from 5 instances

If b) will the blocks contain data from the same attributes from each incidence or totally different data

B) 1 doc with data from 5 instances and each block contains the same attributes from each instance. i.e.

OBJ.LastName OBJ.FirstName

OBJ.Gender OBJ.BirthDate OBJ.Age

OBJ.Address OBJ.City OBJ.State OBJ.ZIP

OBJ.FeePaid

The problem is there is other sensitive data that management just does not want to see transmitted electronically. They feel more secure getting it via mail and doing data entry at HQ

In Haste .... Look at "LIST_TABLE" in the user manual. If you need more help, I'll be back,on Tuesday.

The Instances might need to be referenced items in a master record for this to work.

I'm working on a similar app and I'm using LIST_TABLE_START, LIST_TABLE_END.

I have 2 BO's: Invoices; InvoiceLineItems.

The function is used like this:

<<LIST_TABLE_START(Invoices.LineItems)>> | <<InvoiceLineitems.Product>> | <<InvoiceLineItems.Quantity>> | <<InvoiceLineItems.Price>> <<LIST_TABLE_END()>>|

You can put the headers of the table as you like and also the design (borders), etc.

The only thing I didn't discovered yet is the order of the Table lines. When I print the document the line items are not in the same order as in the form. Maybe someone knows the answer of this and can save us some precious time.
