Multiple email attachments - how to iterate?

I have an object ProjectDocuments, which is an attribute of Project (multiple allowed), of type ProjectDocument

ProjectDocument has an attribute attachment of type document.

I wish to send emails and include certain attachments (I have a SendToVendorFlag as a YesNo to use as a filter).

So, my outgoing email object GenericVendorEmail has Attach1, attach2, attach3, attach4, and attach5 attributes, of type document.

How do I iterate over ProjectDocument to assign these to attach1-5 in GenericVendorEmail

Unfortunately, you have to limit the number of attachments you can put in your Project object to the number of document attributes you add to the e-mail. And so a more appropriate design would be to have individual attributes in the Project object as well, rather than a list of unknown size.

No problem. I am thinking I can out a business rule in ProjectDocuments that assigns similar attribute values in the Project.

For the future, maybe an object iterator would be good for this kind of thing.
