Number format in custom presentation

Hi all, had to take a bit of a hiatus on my project but back at it now!

I just upgraded to the latest build and noticed the on of my custom presentations is not respecting the format settings for numeric fields. I feel like I had this issue before and resolved it, but can not remember how. Anyone have any suggestions?

I am having similar issue with date formats in reports.

The date attribute in the BO is a Timestamp

I have tried

<<MyObject.MyStartTime, ddd MMM YYY>>
and
<<DATE_PART(MyObject.MyStartTime), ddd MMM YYY>>

with no success.

Would love to know how to make this work.

This definitely works. ddd MMM YYY doesn't seem to be a valid format.

Try dd MM yyyy instead

If I wanted to display 18 12 2013 I would not need to do anything. But I want to display the date as 18th Dec 2013.

Preferably, Wednesday, 18th December 2013

Use small "y" for year, not capital. See Java SimpleDateFormat for more details.

I am using a custom data template for a query result, i.e. {bo.attrib} not <<bo.attrib>>. I tried doing as suggested but this "{Status,#.00}" causes a validation error.

It looks like this is case of some existing data not conforming to new settings. As people are making updates the data is being brought in line with current standards so problem is resolving itself (at the data rather than display level).
