I have a user (intelligent) object, called Customer, that I have defined an attribute ParentCustomer of type Customer. So, this is a recursive parent-child relationship. ParentCustomer is non-required, so the very top level Customer will have a null ParentCustomer instance.
I have an object called Project that has a Customer attribute.
I need to define a Process "Create Project Workflow", which takes Project as an input, and will start at the Project.Customer, and traverse up the "Customer.ParentCustomer" tree, until ParentCustomer is null. For each ParentCustomer found, I need to create a WorkFlow transaction.
I cannot find any command like (psuedo code below) :
FIND Customer upline START with Customer=Project.Customer
If there was something like this, I could then do a CREATE ProjectWorkFlowTransaction, for all Customer instances found.
Any variation of the FIND command that will find upline instances?
If there is no clean way to do this, then I will create separate Customer attributes such as Level1ParentCustomer, Level2ParentCustomer, etc.
