Google Map - Center of map condition

We're using a presentation to map a few locations using the Google Map feature. Can someone please advise how to use the " Center of map condition"? Or advise what it does?

I'm guessing you can use this to centre the map? But what should go in here? It doesn't accept an address, looks like it needs attribute or a rule?

Have played around with it and can't get it to do anything. Can't find anything in the docs either. Tks.

I find the google maps loading a number of locations too slow for my liking. It also seems very buggy.

I had some initial success with using http://gmap3.net/en/

I have watched the Google Maps tutorial video (very informative) and it explains the 'Centre of map' condition

Using 'Results of query' to display locations

The browser creates the panel OK (650px high) but the inside table is over 3000px high and you have to scroll right down the bottom to see the map.

in designer, 'Presentation' height is set to 600 only.
Don't know why there is so much white empty space created.

Setting 'Display information window' over 2 lines (see pic) the map is not shown at all.

Thanks - I didn't watch the video before. For others (who don't want to watch the video):

Put a rule in like Customer.Firstname='Jane' and it will display that customer (from the query) in the middle of the map - pretty useful.

We don't get those other problems you mention with the whitespace, but we just have the query being run in a Visual Perspective.
