Agreed. As an additional point, we are finding the need to add more and more HTML/CSS buttons with aware JavaScript commands on locations throughout a form. We do this because often it is much better to put a button inside a separator or next to a field rather than on the top of a form, where the context of the button isn't as obvious. It just helps users to understand. Especially true where the form starts to get large or you are using tabs (form sections) and a button only relates to function on a particular tab.
To this effect we would love an easier way to add and configure buttons on locations throughout a form. Adding a HTML/CSS button at the moment is not difficult BUT we would very much like the ability to add conditional rules to hide the button, or have different buttons depending on access levels or other variables, of course you can work around this with different a forms but it is then double the maintenance.
Support, not sure if this is on the road map? But perhaps others could also indicate if this is a wanted feature.
