Custom Query - put a html button with javascript command

RLJB

I would like to have a pretty CSS button display on an Aware custom query.

Anyone managed to get this working and would like to share some code as an example?

Tks

Forgot to add:

If you put in a typical Aware javascript command like:

<button type="button" onclick="AwareApp.runQuery('UserLog_RegularUser','new_tab')" style="font:10px Arial">View User Login History</button>

Then the bsv will not go into test, it throws an error, and it seems to be because you can't use the ' character in custom queries. We have come across this before when trying to use CSS styles but have got around it by using a CSS style sheet.

This can probably be achieved using the Advanced button on a query that lets you specify a script that can modify Sencha configuration of a GridPanel. You need to understand configuration options for Sencha GridPanel object in order to do this.

If you mean buttons across the top/bottom and query results in the middle, the button javascript should be working:

<button onclick="AwareApp.runQuery('myQuery','new_tab')" type="submit"> View products in new tab</button>

Custom Query:

In test mode:

On Click

Support,

The header settings input is only 1 line high if the code is long when the characters exceed the input width. Its very hard to see the code and you have to scroll horizontally. Can the header input be 'word-wprapped'?

RocketRod

Yes but can it be done on a standard query?

You can put the buttons in the query>'Summary'

Buttons using Bootstrap CSS:

<div class="btn-group" align="center"><button class="btn btn-info btn-large" onclick="AwareApp.runQuery('Products','new_tab')" type="submit"><i class="icon-white icon-user"></i> View products in another tab</button><button class="btn btn-success btn-large" onclick="AwareApp.runQuery('Products','new_tab')" type="submit"><i class="icon-white icon-user"></i> Another tab +</button></div>

Thanks. Maybe we will be able to put them in the top one day. Cheers.
