Problem With Query

I have frigged around with this and cannot see the wood for the trees.

I am trying to display LeaveType that meets certain criteria. ie Employee has that LeaveType assigned on todays date.

FIND LeaveType WHERE LeaveType IN EmployeeLeaveAssignment.LeaveType AND EmployeeLeaveAssignment.Active='Yes' AND EmployeeLeaveAssignment.StartDate<=CURRENT_DATE AND (EmployeeLeaveAssignment.EndDate>=CURRENT_DATE OR EmployeeLeaveAssignment.EndDate IS UNDEFINED)

This does not return anything.

However, If I just look for the EmployeeleaveAssignment that meets the same criteria with following it works for EmployeeLeaveAssignment.

FIND EmployeeLeaveAssignment WHERE EmployeeLeaveAssignment.Active='Yes' AND EmployeeLeaveAssignment.StartDate<=CURRENT_DATE AND (EmployeeLeaveAssignment.EndDate>=CURRENT_DATE OR EmployeeLeaveAssignment.EndDate IS UNDEFINED)

Just need to bring the two together and get the LeaveType that matches it.

Can anyone suggest what might be the issue please....it would be most appreciated.

FIND LeaveType WHERE LeaveType IN EmployeeLeaveAssignment.LeaveType AND LeaveType.EmployeeLeaveAssignment.Active='Yes' AND LeaveType.EmployeeLeaveAssignment.StartDate<=CURRENT_DATE AND (LeaveType.EmployeeLeaveAssignment.EndDate>=CURRENT_DATE OR LeaveType.EmployeeLeaveAssignment.EndDate IS UNDEFINED)
