Update a Parent attribute from related child attribute

I have been trying to get a child object attribute populate a parent attribute. This is multiple relationship between the Parent and Child.

Parent Object – Customer
Parent attribute – Customer.LatestProjectRef
Reference Attribute – Customer.Projects

Child Object – Project
Child Attribute – Project.ProjectRef
Child Attribute – Project.ProjectDate
Reference Attribute – Project.Customer

The Customer.LatestProjectRef attribute must always display the latest value from the list of all Projects based on the Project.ProjectDate attribute.

Customer.LatestProjectRef = Project.ProjectRef

Whilst I can get the value to display it will only display the initial project record and updates when I edit this record.

Based on my readings it looks like a process that includes the FIND along with WHERE and TAKE BEST 1 and ORDER BY are probably the key to this.

I have tried creating a single process using the Input from the Customer object but no joy there.

ENTER NEW Project WITH Project.Customer=Customer
FIND Project WHERE Project.Customer=Customer.Projects ORDER BY Project.ProjectDate DESC
Customer.LastProjectNumber=Project.ProjectNumber
