Develop om multiple computers?

Hi all,
I was wondering how its possible to develop from multiple computers e.g. the main server where the application runs and a laptop. I have a server which is the production server which runs my applications but i want to develop from my laptop. I have searched the forums regarding this but didn´t fully understand how to do this.

The main question i have is regarding the Aware IM installation. Can i install Aware IM on 2 computers with the standard developer license?

Thanks Tom, this is the post i read before posting my question 🙂. It doesn´t say anywhere if one can install Aware IM on 2 computers (thinking of license etc.? I have also read something about "Configuration tool light"?). I could of course have tried it but i wanted to be sure how it works.

Hi all,
For you interested in doing this, this is the reply i got from support:
"The solution to this is a single user developer license. This license costs $300 only and allows you to install developer license on a separate machine. The only limitation is that only one user can work with it at a time"

The prerequisite for buying this single license is having bought the full developer license.

Is this a one off licence cost or do you need to upgrade it also on top of the developer licence . . . It may be worth while springing for an inexpensive development laptop.

Hi James,
I don´t know if i understand your question fully but i will clarify my previous post.
If i have a production server which is my main server where my applications run i need a full developer license (1599USD) for that server. If i want to develop from my laptop and upload the BSV to my production server i can buy the single developer license (300USD). The prerequisite is that i have bought the full developer license prior to buying the single developer license (the full developer license runs on my production server, the single developer license runs om my laptop). The limitation is that only I / 1 user can a) develop with this license , b) use the application locally on my laptop when testing an application.

Hope this clarifies this a bit and for more clarification please contact support. If i have understood it correctly, they prefer to receive all license questions via e-mail (support@awareim.com).
