I’m currently using version 4.8. I noticed 5.5 has the multiple file upload feature. I wanted to get more info on this feature without installing 5.5. I checked the user guide and the online “how to” and couldn’t find the info that I was looking for.
I was wanting to know when selecting files for the multiple file upload if you are able to select several files at once when Operating Systems open file dialog box opens. Or do I have to browse each time and select the files individually before they are ready for the multiple file upload feature to upload them.
Kind of like with web email in the “Old days” to attach files you had to keep clicking browse to attach each file to the email. But over that last couple of years with webmail you can click browse and use your control of shift key to select multiple files.
So my question is: Can you use your control or shift key in AwareIM or does it work the OLD way?
I wish Aware would worked like my Rackspace webmail. I can just drag files from a folder in windows into the browser and it automatically uploads them using the webpage that I’m using to compose my email. It does this without a flash plugin too.
