Export BO: Linux

I am trying to export a BO on linux using the following process. The log is existing the business object does not exist.

EXPORT Companies TO '/home/james/test.csv'

oops. selected post before I was finished.

This BO does exist , I am not sure why this is not working. Thanks

I gave up on Linux many years ago but I think that you need to define the full path of the file, not a relative path.

Your file path is fine, but you can't export a BO, try a query of a BO, it has to be in context

The file path looks fine, are you logged in as the user "james" ?

Make sure you have permissions to write to the /home/james directory.

Could there be an issue with the BO?

Check to see if the BO exists in the BASTESTDB or BASDB .
