Dynamic dropdownlists

Hello,

I want to achieve this:

I have Clients, ClientsCars and ORDERS BO's

Every Client is the owner of more Cars ---this is working

In ClientsCars I enter every car (with make, model, identification number,
etc) -- this is working

I have implemented this solution from https://forum.awareim.com/d/724> ---this is working....

In Orders form I have a dropdown list where I can select 1 client's car (for that order)....beside the dropdownlist I want to put a ADD NEW button...which opens a form to add a new car for that client.... THIS is not working (the form opens, but the car is not attached to that client)...How can I make this?

Please help.

OK, assuming the drop down is a ClientCar BO Relationship attribute on the Orders BO.

If you select the ClientCar Attribute there is a check box option in the properties to enable the addition of new records. It puts a + image beside the dropdown. So long as the relationship is there it should work. It uses the default create form for that ClientCar BO

On a side note, make sure your ordering system checks the availability of the car at order/booking time on your Orders BO.

Thanks for the reply...

Excuse me I supose I have not detailed enough...
The system is a Workshop App....The Client owns the car..and can have more cars which brings it to the workshop...
The Order is a Workshop contract on which the staffmember completes it when the client arrives with the car....If the car which the client brings is not in the system, staffmember clicks the + sign which you mentioned and adds the new car...
In my App (WhorkshopORDER/contract form) the + sign appears, when I click it the car form appears to enter the details for that car, but when I save it, is not added to the client...

What I miss?
The relationship between Clients and Cars "Owner of".... and between Clients and ORDER/Contract is also "owner of"...It's ok?
