Multiple duplicates Import Problem

I'm attempting to import a .cvs file to an empty business object. There are 40 rows in the .csv with the 1st row the object.attribute names.

The process completes but the last row of the .csv is imported 35 times. There are no errors reported, other than a couple of data exceeds attribute size, which is fine, and the log shows 75 records processed.

I've set the block size to 40 and the log shows the 40 processed and then a total of 75 records processed.

Is there a way to identify a primary key with no duplicates allowed and will that solve the problem?

I've done this before without this result.

Ok, I had the same problem when I began.

I solved that going to the database (MySQL in my case) went to the table and modified the primary key fields. In my case, it was a made out of 4 fields. That worked for me. Importing is done an when it finds a duplicate it just shows an error and the importing cannot be finished.

I have to check first where is the duplicate field and delete it in the CSV.

I do not recomend this. I just did it and worked for me. In the past I could manage this better with SQL Server and Access. thats another story.
