Not a support question but I could use some community help to improve my understanding of things.
I run AwareIM on my desktop and upload my BSVs to a production server. There are times when I would like to run my BSV changes against a database that is a duplicate of my production database - a testing server, if you will.
I'd like to just export the operational data from the production server and import to my desktop database to test it in operational mode. My thinking is that I can dump the basdb tables and then upload to my desktop and run in operational mode. I figure to do this with Navicat by selecting all of the basdb tables, but the tool is not important. Can anyone advise whether this will work or if there is any better method to achieve my desire?
