Plain Text or HTML!??!

I'm having a problem

If i use plain text, i'm not able to show a text on a HTML presentation because it looses it's line breaks. But it works fine on Reports.

If i use HTML, it shows fine on presentations, but it looses its formats on Reports.

Does anyone have a workaround to this!?

Exactly, I have the same problem, in a report to show the results of a field with HTML attribute.

someone could help me with this please?

You cannot use HTML in reports at the moment - only in presentations. So if you want to use the field in both the only workaround is to have two fields and use them separately in reports and presentations

Maybe you should think about a STRIPTAGS function.... A function that converts a HTML field to a TEXT field, so we can have 2 attributes with the same content in different formats

Good idea. You can implement this function yourself as a plugin.

See this post, you can use replace pattern function to achieve same thing:

I don't know if you were Being ironic on this, but I'll answer as you weren't

I would really love to implement this as a plugin as well as a lots of ideas that I have, and that's one of the reasons I asked for a video tutorial on the custom plugin/function

I just said about you doing this because I think it's something that is missing on AwareIM and everyone may need that once

Rod,thanks for the tip
I'll use that

I was not being ironic. As for the tutorial, point taken. There will be a series of new ones coming soon.
