RLJB I want to generate a 25 char random key of numbers and letters. Thinking of using RANDOM() for the numbers and some text functions for the letters. Anyone done a similar thing and would like to share? tks
kklosson I have, but I did not try to get 25 characters. I suggest a loop evaluating your string for a length of 25, with each iteration use random to generate a character. I'm not sure how to get a good mix of letters and numbers but you may want to start with a string that includes all characters you want to use and use your random function to get a character from a random location from Random(1 to 25). Something like that...
