Context and FIND

Hello,

We are having trouble with the following process.

FIND Product WHERE Product.BertcoPOD_Tracked='Yes' AND Product.BertcoPOD_Email='No' IN BATCHES OF 1
SEND BertcoPOD_Email_Auto TO ThisProduct.Contact2 
CREATE EmailRecord WITH EmailRecord.Product=ThisProduct,EmailRecord.DateSent=CURRENT_TIMESTAMP,EmailRecord.EmailType='Bertco POD' 
ThisProduct.BertcoPOD_Email='Yes'

We have 5 of those rules set up to run when our SendAutoEmail process is invoked. The only difference is the fields that the rule references. So instead of being Bertco the next rule would be MPS or some other compnay. The problem is that the email (on the second line of rule) is being sent even if the rule didn't actually FIND a product. This leads me to believe that the rule is not written correctly. It looks right to me but It's not working properly. I'm actually receiving 5 different emails every time the process executes. Any advice would be most welcome.

You are using ThisProduct in the rule. "This" prefix only refers to the FIRST product instance in the context. So if FIND finds more than one the rule will not work for the rest. Also if there is already a product in the context before FIND executes the rule will also fire for that product only. You may need to change ThisProduct to just Product

Product.BertcoPOD_Email='Yes'
