Report Design Help

Good day every one..

Can the report add the 2 Sum together or minus and show the result?

Say: SUM Account.DebitAmount
Say: SUM Account.CreditAmount

I need is SUM Account.DebitAmount - SUM AccountCreditAmount and show the results?

Please advice... thanks.

I have written as:

SUM Account.DebitAmount - SUM AccountCreditAmount

but show nothing.

is the typo in the forum or in the rule? you are missing a period above.

I have come across this issue (or a similar one) especially where you have a Group on the report.

My work around was to put a new attribute in the BO e.g. Account.Diff and a rule in the BO, for example:

Account.Diff=Account.DebitAmount-Account.CreditAmount

Then in the report just do a SUM Account.Diff

It works for me - good luck.
