Moving MySQL data to new server question

We've had a problem with a GoDaddy VPS so we are trying a test on someone else's. We want to move our MySQL data from one to another.

The last time we did a complete dump when we imported on a live system (non-evaluation) it killed the licensing and Aware support had to help us get it activated again.

This is going to be on a 30 day evaluation copy. So I am not worried about deactivation other then not being able to get into and run AwareIM after the restore.

Do I dump the basdb file and the MySQL files or just the basdb files? Is there certain files the should not be restored because we don't know what affected licensing last time and whether it would bring down and evaluation version.

If someone could explain the procedure for moving MySQL data through the workbench from one computer to another, it would great be appreciated.

Answered some of my own questions and found previous post regarding this. I was a little confused on the relationship between the BASDB and MYSQL files because the export gave me both sets of files. When I actually go to my files, I only see the BASDB files so that is what I assume I export.

For the previous posts it looks like I export all the files beginning with the business space name except for one file I think it was the bas_idgen.

I will review the previous post and see what happens.

Actually it looks like all business space file and the 1 file.
