By the way, just to explain the Aware IM philosophy here:
You can define any business object to represent users of your application. RegularUser is just one such object (a prototype if you like) and you DO NOT HAVE to use it - you can only use your objects such as Employee to represent your users (therefore, linking RegularUser with Employee doesn't make too much sense).
The only requirement is - if you want an object to represent a user of your application (that is, he will be logging into the application) you have to make it a member of the SystemUser group and let Aware IM automtically add required predefined attributes.
