calendar icon rules

hi,

is it the case that "icon rules" only work on the attribute "Subject" in any Appointment BO?

reason for asking;

we have an attribute called "event" (birthday,anniversary,other1,other2)
we created a Calendar query, initially selected Subject and event as default in (Standard) display, then change the query to a Calendar (Display)

however we are unable to get Icon's displayed unless we use Subject

1) i had to change the "display" type to Icon in the Standard view then change back to Calendar

hi again,

we tried now after having Subject, Description and our "event" attribute present and now NO Icon rules work.

tested in IE/FF/Chrome hrm

nothing in the logs either about errors, breaks etc..

any ideas?
