I have a need to create a ms word template which when downloaded to the user has areas that cannot be edited and areas where the user can enter data inc tick boxes.
I'm told I can achieve this by making the ms document a form. Before I go spending hours figuring out how to do this in Word, can anyone tell me whether the resulting document would work as a mail merge document in AwareIm.
The usage will be a membership renewal form with some data (the un editable bits) coming from the members BO and then some boxes where the members will be able to indicate what additional items they wish to subscribe to this year
