I have a number field where a user can enter the costs of an article.

I want to enter: 1.000,00

Aware forces me to enter 1000.00

How can I change the dot into a comma which is common here in the Netherlands?

Use the "Format" property of the number attribute.

As we can not specify the locale to be used by the number formatting, we can not let Aware render 1234.56 as 1.234,56 (european number formatting)

any workaround for this?

Have you tried the Format property as recommended in this thread?

I've forced Aware to use the "nl_BE"-locale by adding

export LANG="nl_BE.utf8"

to the startAwareIMNoGUI.sh-script

Seems to be OK now.
