Issue with query called from process

Hi,

I have a query, qryTest which displays some data and allows users to process these rows in two ways, OperationA and operationB. Operation A and B are invoked from buttons at the bottom of the screen automatically placed by AwreIM. This works fine, it's great.

I now need to call that query as part of a process:

...Do some stuff...
PICK FROM qryTest
...Do some more stuff....

The rows of data appear as I'd hope but the buttons are missing and therefore the user cannot press them to execute the operations on the data.

Is it due to the way I'm calling the query? I can't find an OPEN QUERY command to just open it 'as normal'

Any help appreciated....

Are you saying that "...Do some more stuff.... " should appear as Operations on the Query & be called when the user selects the Operation?

Hi T,

No, "...Do some more stuff..." just represents that the PICK is part of a process that has many steps. The operations are stored in the query and work if the query is opened normally. When the query is opened as part of a PICK sttatement the operation buttons do not appear.

I would happily move the operations to be part of this process if I knew how to get th two user choice buttons to appear

PICK FROM qryTest
to
DISPLAY qryTest
