I am trying to implement Charts using the technique in the Sample CRM BO. this is my Rule.

Rule 1

CREATE StatisticsRecordIncome WITH StatisticsRecordIncome.SYear=StatistParam.StatYear,StatisticsRecordIncome.BaseName=StatistParam.BaseName,StatisticsRecordIncome.SMonth=1,StatisticsRecordIncome.StatusText='Paid'

Rule 2
CREATE StatisticsRecordIncome WITH StatisticsRecordIncome.SYear=StatistParam.StatYear,StatisticsRecordIncome.BaseName=StatistParam.BaseName,StatisticsRecordIncome.SMonth=2,StatisticsRecordIncome.StatusText='Unpaid'

Rule 3
CREATE StatisticsRecordIncome WITH StatisticsRecordIncome.SYear=StatistParam.StatYear,StatisticsRecordIncome.BaseName=StatistParam.BaseName,StatisticsRecordIncome.SMonth=3

Rule 4

Same as Rule 3 except I change SMonth= 4, 5, 6, etc for each month and rule.

When I run the report the it does the Count but it only count is wrong. how can I get it to Count using the Invoice Status. I am still trying to understand how this Rule work. Can you help?

Anyone please help.

The Problem I am having is that there are 12months in the Year. the current rule is creating 12 records for the Year. But my Invoice Status is only (Paid and Unpaid)

This is my rule that do the Count.

StatisticsRecordEnquiries.TotalRegionCount=COUNT Enquiry WHERE (Enquiry.fk_Client.CountryOrigin=StatisticsRecordEnquiries.RegionText AND Enquiry.PreferredBase.Name=LoggedInRegularUser.SPBase AND YEAR(Enquiry.ContactDate)=LoggedInRegularUser.SPYear)

this rule. I am having the same issue with the first rule. so if I get this work I apply the same method.

Im trying http://www.anychart.com/home/ and it seems to be fine in my server. But I want to show the info inside AwareIM.

Here is an example from a couple of years ago of using AwareIM to write XML that is consumed by Fusion Charts:

Latest version of Fusioncharts is very good but using the php version is very complicate as you will have to fight to make it work under Tomcat...

Anyone played with Google Charts? looks super slick to me, but have not really played with them yet. I did hear a rumor that the Aware team might be considering options to use them. Fingers crossed! 😉

A few interesting points:

a) we use the Google image charts extensively as they work in Aware and Mobile (ipad/iphone) since they are NOT flash.... BUT they are being depreciated by Google in 2 odd years

b) we have tried using the javascript charts (google and others) in aware BUT they don't really work cleanly in aware without a bit of hacking and I have never found a good way of getting them to work without adding a lot of code in the startup.html file in aware which I don't think is wise

c) we use flash based charts a lot (mostly fusioncharts) they look great and they are able to do pretty much anything you want BUT they will not work on mobile (ipad/iphone) and they are a lot of work to get the charts in

d) we have started to switch everything back to Aware's inbuilt charting which has enormous potential if we could get a few little extras in - but my uninformed opinion is that it may need ExtJS4 for this to happen

New Fusioncharts works with HTML5 as well 🙂

Are you using the Javascript FushionCharts? If so, can you please give us a high level description of how you have configured your FusionCharts in Aware ?

(we have used the Flash version but no luck with Javascript)
