Protect Action

Good day everyone...

I am using the AwareIM V5.1A Build 1475.

I have a attribute which I want to protect it when the condition is true.

If Status = 'Closed' Then PROTECT Tax.TaxRate FROM ALL

I found that the Tax Rate is able to change on the User Interface and click save and the log file change back the original rate again.

"-Access to attribute TaxRate of business object Tax is denied. Restoring old value 7.0"

I have tried the Action with: READ PROTECT Tax.TaxRate FROM ALL also same result as the Tax Rate modify difference rate before the user submit the form. I though the READ PROTECT which the attribute is not visible? But why now the attribute still visible?

I am use the same condition on AwareIM V5.0, the Form of the Tax Rate is Disable which not allowed for user to change the Tax Rate at all.

Does V5.1A change the procedure of the Action? Any bug on V5.1A?

I found the issue:

My Vendor Invoice Tax Comput Rule:
Stk_VI_Detail.TaxAmount=Round(Stk_VI_Detail.GrossAmount*Stk_VI_Detail.MyTaxID.TaxRate/100,2)

If I did the above rule...
If EXISTS Stk_VI_Header WHERE (Stk_VI_Header.MyTaxID.ID=ThisTax.ID) Then
PROTECT Tax.TaxRate FROM ALL

The Log File Showed: "-Access to attribute TaxRate is allowed because it was not changed. Its value is 7.0."

In this case the Tax Rate is able to change on the User Interface Form and before submit and the log file change back the original rate again.

Is this behaviour of AwareIM?
