Ajax.....again

I tried to use ajax and aware one more time, but i was not successful again.

I tried this...but i don't know
Login(I'm using version 5.0)

ajaxRequest.open("GET", "http://myip:8080/AwareIM/xml.awr?<login_action business_space='QMD' user_name='admin' password='password' testing_mode='true' />", true);

it doesn't work...
i understand how the query part works, but i can't get the login part to run successfully.

Anyone can PLEASE help me on that?

xml.awr is not a valid URL. It's either xml.do (for the old interface) or webif.awr (for the new one).

aware_full.js is an exampe of using Awar IM with AJAX - it's the entire Aware IM interface.

I mixed up everything.
But i searched the whole AWARE directory for "login_action" and i can't find it.
There is no example of it's use...

Is there some other place to search for?

If you use the new interface login is assumed to be a UI login - session id is not returned, but a special cookie is. It is assumed that the browser saves this cookie and all subsequent requests are sent from the browser with this cookie (that's how session is identified).

An example of a login is in loginAdmin.html or login.html. You send the login request to a special URL and Aware IM returns an XML describing the configuration of the application.

Let's start from the beginning
The main objective is to run a query that I already have on the application and present it on a different way
It will be a dinamic gantt chart on a website different than the application
So
For this I was thinking I could use Ajax calling this query and presenting the result XML as the chart
I already have the JavaScript chart component and it's working ok with OTHER data from other application
I just need to change my Ajax URL to access aware data

I need to run the login_action command before running the query, right?
And what is the URL I have to call for this?
It should return a login_action_success XML?

Is this query part of your existing Aware IM application? If it is you don't need to login - use custom form or a content panel in a visual perspective to implement this and then provide your custom Javascript calling AJAX (new interface) to get query results (no need to login) and present it the way you want.

There is no need to login because the browser already maintains the current session in a cookie if it is part of the existing Aware IM application.
