Basic question about Add New button

Hi I have a BO 'A' and a second BO 'B' which refers to the first. I've a main form for BO A and on that form I have a list to add BO B's. To do that easily I have switched on the 'Add New' button.

Now I have a simple problem.

When I create a new BO A, I see the main form and a list where I can add BO B.

When I press the Add New button, the main form of object B appears. When I save that form, Aware says 'Value of BOARef' must be provided.

I understand that BO A is not saved yet and that causes the problem, but how can I save object A first so this problem does not occur???

I would usually add BO A first via a process using an ADD form that does not display the reference item. Then the process places the BO A in edit mode using an edit form which displays the BO B as well as the entered BO A details so the user can add the reference items using the Add New button. This is standard AwareIM.

Yes, I understand to do it that way, but I hoped this could be done a easier way.
