Getting Information from WEB Leads

We currently have a FORMS that gather information and customer request. We have other pages clients can get information on their account.

Is it possible to do the following:

#2) If we send them to a page that has a menu when they select EXIT it should return to our normal web site.

#3) If we send them to a page that has a form. After they click submit it return them to our normal web site.

#4) Can we leave a COOKIE on the machine so if they go back it can pull their information up without input from them? (ie: Remember them?)

#1) I would like to be able to redirect from our web site a customer that is looking for information and have it collect the information and then return to our web site. NO LOGIN REQUIRED. Just go to the menu and/or form.
Yes, this is possible. You will have to use the URL for guest access (see the User Manual for details). If you want the system to automatically display a form, define the corresponding process and set it as an initialization process in the visual perspective for guest user.

Yes, this is possible. You need to define a menu operation of the "URL" type and specify the URL to go to.

Currently they will have to click on the "Exit" menu item

We do not support this yet.

Alternatively you can use forms on your own web site to collect data and when the data is ready send it to Aware IM for processing as a notification (can be an e-mail) or a notification sent through other channels (SOAP, sockets etc)

I want to confirm that Aware still doesn't support Cookies??

If not, will V5 support them?

I am needing this capability, so any help would be appreciated.

Since this is an old post, maybe it's there and I just don't see it in the documentation.

I will search some more and see what I can find.

What I need is a way where someone can come into my site as a guest, but if they want to register, they can come in as a specific user, and I need some way for them to mark that they want to be "remembered". It can't be automatically done for them in case they are on a public computer, but some way where they can specify that they want to stay logged in.

This is not supported automatically yet. The only way to do it is to create your own login form and your own cookie mechanism. You should then read the cookie and get the Aware IM credentials from the cookie. Only then you will call an Aware IM URL with explicit user name and password (there is a URL in Aware IM that lets you go straight into the system bypassing the login form - but the user name and password must be explicitly specified in this URL).

I will give it a try. I am hoping that I can figure it out, especially how I'm going to get Aware IM to login. Is there any way to log in via something besides the URL since I wouldn't want the user to see there password in the url?
