Mobile Wishlist / Question Re Presentation

Hi Support

Have been playing around with Mobile a lot. Is there any chance of getting Presentations to work on the mobile? And if so, is this planned for anytime soon?

Why? We are finding that displaying information is quite restrictive currently with ref attributes in own tab etc. and support for presentations could overcome this quite nicely. We also note that presentations do work on a tablet when using the normal (non mobile) login.

There are no plans for this at this stage, but I suppose there is no reason why presentations shouldn't work on mobiles.

Presentations on mobile are actually supported. What makes you think they are not?

Ok, we can indeed show our presentations using a button on a form "View Object" and "View Presentation". But we have 2 problems (which I think might be bugs):

a) you can't scroll presentations, so if they go over the screen size they just get cut off, you also can't zoom in/out

b) you can't get "back" from the presentation, e.g. if you add a text field to the presentation (or image/button) with a Hyperlink and the type set to "Edit Business Object" then the text and hyperlink is displayed on the presentation but clicking it doesn't do anything, therefore you are stuck - there is no way back to the form

Here is half an answer:

You CAN use the "back" button on your mobile web browser to take you from a presentation back to the to the record.

In fact the browser buttons can be used throughout your mobile application (I got so used to NOT using them in normal Aware apps I forgot to test them!)

We still can't Zoom in/out of presentations on mobile - this does seem to be a bug/limitation - support can you please confirm this? Also - the line spacing goes crazy.
