Tomcat heap - connection lost due to port 9000 or heap size

Hello,

I have seen many posts about this and after trying all options found here and in internet my problem still continues :

connection lost error due to blocked port 9000, problem disappears if I restart AwareIM server and appears back every 10 or 15 mn
connection lost due to Java Heap side error

Is the Tomcat memory allocation in AwareIm related to due heap size choice or should I add a line in catalina.sh ????
We have 8 users and its their usage causing the crash...

Hello Powerm!

Right now I have 3 developer licences, in 3 diferent servers.

2 of them are in Iweb.com theses servers are the ones giving me problems.
(icore3 4gbram, 500gb hd) Windows Server 2008 web edition

Have 1 server in Singlehop.com with (icore3 4gbram, 500gb hd) Windows Server 2008 web edition and never had that problem.

1 server in Iweb shows me the error:

Unable to open TCP/IP socket for server localhost on port 9000,br.Please make sure that port 9000 in unblocked

The other server just blocks, and wont show a message.

this problem happens sometimes 2 o 4 times a week.

the memory in the System Settings is 1024 for the 4 and 90 delay.

I have just 1 RDP access.

If anyone find how to solve it, please. Let us know..

The first problem is related to some TCP/IP socket problem on your server. We have never had this problem before. so we are not sure what's causing it - it's definitely not the Aware IM problem.

The second issue is related to Tomcat memory. When the problem happens take a look at the output of the Tomcat window for any clues. You may want to either increase memory allocated to Tomcat or change Tomcat concurrent settings (there are threads on this forum about this)
