Thanks for your response. An example of what we are trying to achieve is within a vendor/purchase order system that is being created. During the creation of the purchase order, when a user selects an item and quantity to purchase, we would like to subtly be able to show a message letting them know that perhaps there is a competitive product that is on special that week or maybe that particular vendor is offering a promotion on that item such as a reduced price if they purchase two items instead of one.
As you can imagine, the closer to the quantity selection action that we can present this subtle (asynch) message to the user, the more effective the message might be. I think that my client would be prepared to subsidize this development if it was possible. If so, could you please take a look at it and let me know if it might be possible to dynamically call an asynch message from a form change and if so, what it might cost?
thanks,
Pete
