Unable to connect to URL

Hi!
Has anybody met this problem?

com.bas.shared.ruleparser.ParseException Unable to connect to URL http://somesms-server.com/sys/send.php?login=mylogin&psw=mypassword&phones=somephone&mes=my_message &translit=1 due to exception java.net.UnknownHostException somesms-server.com

It comes in popup window when I press button that starts process that has inside another process which sends sms

SMSNotification.Sending=
URL_CONTENTS('http://somesms-server.com/sys/send.php?login=mylogin&psw=mypassword&phones=<<Order.Client.Tel>>&mes=my_message&translit=1')

When I paste same url in browser it works.[/code]

The solution was to use https insead of http in URL.

Unfortunately today again this problem occurred even-tough https is used. Still searching for solution.

Is there another way(action) to request URL in order to send sms?

Tested from local computer - no error. So it seems that server blocks external request.
Is there corresponding settings in aware config files that can cause this?

Support, could you tell please what exactly does URL_CONTENT from programmers side in order to explain it to server administrator if it is server's problem?

Hi,
I tried going to https://lsite.com and it didn't resolve. Perhaps that is the cause of your problem? if you google lsite.com it returns their website but if you click on the link it doesn't load their site. Looks like their server is having issues.

https://lsite.com is not really what is in log I just changed site address.

Moreover when I use same URL with DISPLAY URL it works, but it doesnt work when URL_CONTEN used.
On local computer in Vista and Debian(KDE) it doesnt work when URL_CONTEN used and if url start with http; BUT if it starts with https it works there.

On my dedicated server with Debian it deoesnt work when URL_CONTEN used even if url start with https but only works with DISPLAY URL.

2 system administrators were searching for problem in server but couldnt find anything wrong in its cofig.

Does REQUEST SERVICE have a different mechanism requesting url comparing with URL_CONTENT?

Unfortunately not in all cases Display URL can be used.
