Thanks for the info.

Since I have literally zero knowledge of JBoss, and don't want to monkey around without better understanding, would this be something client should undertake, or should/would Aware issue a patch? Or both?

to be honest,

i do not think anyone would be effected unless you fit this category,

1) You have a distributed system, Aware Server/Tomcat on one machine and JBoss on another with ports XXXX open

otherwise i think its not necessarily a very big threat
